Vintage Revisited block 5 challenge quilt for Mary Kerr’s book A Quilt Block Challenge
The background fabric from the original block is used on the back as a label. I hand blanket-stitched the vintage appliqué and the new pieces onto the new background. This piece is free motion quilted and embellished with beads before the backing was put on. I then hand quilted it on the back. The fabric used is a selection from Moda's collection Chelsea's Boutique
