Vintage Revisited block 3 challenge quilt for Mary Kerr’s book A Quilt Block Challenge
Red, White and Blue Sue
Spring 2007
I love my 2nd quilt, Mediterranean Sea, however I felt the character of the block was lost so I knew I wanted to take that into consideration when designing this quilt. Sue’s bonnet, hand, apron and shoes are the original block. I used a variety of appliqué and quilting methods.
