Tulip Tree Skirt

Challenge Quilts
Spring 2009 Mary Kerr presented me with another challenge. Each of us would have 4 blocks left from the set she used in Tulip Mania. No rules, just create something. Each block had 3 tulips on it which I picked off right away. The vintage green had lost it’s color but I found a variety of new fabrics that had a similar color which I used for the large leaves.
