Tahitian Applique
On July 25, 2009 CBQ offered a class with Dierdra McElroy called Tahitian Quilting. We learned her techniques for needle turn applique along with sitting positions to help eleviate pain etc. Dierdra gave a lecture for our guild as well and she shared a lot of the history and patterns traditional to Tahiti.
