Spring 2004, CBQ offered a class with Susan Carlson called Something Fishy. This was another class that broke all of the rules I knew. We created fish using a collage technique of cutting and gluing fabrics, using the prints and textures to help us. These fish were then auditioned on a variety of backgrounds and free motion quilted. I designed my own Oranda Goldfish pattern. Boeboe was a pet of Lauren’s, my oldest daughter.
