Portraits in Blue
June 2004
Quilters Unlimited (QU) offered classes at its show for the first time in 2004. I took Ruth Green’s Portraits in Blue. It was another cut and glue class but far more detailed than the fish quilt. We used all blue fabrics (fronts and backs) to recreate our photos, concentrating on the value and texture they offered. This is my daughter Lauren who graduated that year.
