Pansy Series

The first example is created with crayon. The second is using collage style applique. The third example is free motion thread sketching and the fourth is fusible applique with hand blanket stitch. All four examples have a combination of free motion quilting and straight line quilting, they are finished with a wide pansy binding.

These are two more pansy samples I have made. The fifth sample is multi colored thread sketching. The last one is drawn with Inktense pencils, then wet to get a watercolor look and also make them permanent. It was finished with free motion quilting for details and beaded.
