I purchased this vintage tablecloth at an antique store. It had a couple of cigarette holes in it so it was only $8. All the hand embroidery and crochet was in beautiful shape and I know it took the original seamstress hours to do. I appliqued baskets in the center and added a narrow green border behind the crochet edge. I heavily free motion machine quilted it. This is one of my favorite pieces.
