Let me tell you about Miss Vicki. I showed up for Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival as usual but this particular year the new hotel had opened. At breakfast the first morning I got in line for an omelet and met Vicki. She is the most cheerful, pleasant person and is awesome at her job. Every morning of every MAQF for the last six years I have been greeted by Vicki's smile. MAQF wouldn't be the same without her!

My favorite moment with this quilt was when I took Miss Vicki to see the quilt for the first time. I had made arrangements to take her out to dinner and then to the preview of The Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival. She seemed so happy that I couldn’t help but be pleased. She is a wonderful lady with a great work ethic and positive attitude! She said that this was like being presented her Oscar!
