Make Lemonade
2005
Make Lemonade was made in response to a Guild challenge given in 2005 – to be part of a special exhibit at the MAQF 2006. The challenge was to take a well-known quote and give it a twist. The quote had to appear on the quilt. My quote was “When Life Gives You Lemons…Make a Lemonade Quilt”. The “Quiltable Quotes” exhibit went on by request to be shown in Chicago and California that same year.
