This quilt is an original design based on a book illustrated by my youngest daughter, Jenny, when she was 7 years old. The entire piece is made with fusible appliqué and hand embroidery. Some of the details are added with fabric markers. Using the walking foot I quilted the background with rays from the star, the rest of the quilt was free motion quilted.
