Drawing For Your Quilts
June 2004
Another 2004 Quilters Unlimited class I took was Esterita Austin’s Drawing for your Quilts. We drew still life pictures and used them as patterns to cut our batik prints, paying particular attention to the shading in the fabric to help create dimension. We added highlighting with paint.
