Wall Quilts
The larger of these pieces was made in Spring of 1999 from a kit my mum gave me that she purchased in Columbus, Ohio. My neighbor admired it so I made her a smaller version with the scraps in ? . I was working on the first one while my dad was undergoing surgery for lung cancer in March and open heart surgery in June, so I tried to have cheerful thoughts and the fabrics in this wall hanging helped me do that.
Received a third place ribbon at the Prince William County Fair 2000
