Ricky Ticky Tulips
February 2004
I took Ricky Tims Caveman Style Quilting class at the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival (MAQF)2004. I knew he would be a very entertaining instructor, but I really had no idea what I was in for. There was no measuring, no rulers, no ¼ inch seams and no quilt police. We had a great time but boy did he force me outside my traditional set of rules. We made quilts he calls Chantelle Tulips. The fabric in the center of this quilt I dyed in a Jelly Jar class with Pauline Davy in 2003.
