2002
Wall Quilts
B is for Basket is one of a series of four theme quilts that I have created. It incorporates embroidered, pieced and appliqued blocks. I chose to use fusible applique with hand blanket stitch. I teach a draft and design class that uses my designs or I will help you work on creating one of your own.
B is for Basket was made in 2002 for my neighbor and good friend Donna Hudson who collects Longaberger baskets. The three embroidered baskets are from a commercial pattern, the rest of the quilt is original.
